In the past Imperial Families and courtnobles lived their remaining life apart from the bustle of the central Kyoto. Hereabout there are a lot of ancient and small thatched-hut-style buildings, including temples and shrines.
Tenryu-ji Temple *1, Path of Bamboo Forest *2, Nonomiya Shrine *3, Nison-in Temple *4,
Gioji Temple *5 and the other five traditional & famous spots (Rakushisha, Jojakko-ji Temple, Adashino Nenbutsu-ji Temple, Toriimoto, Otagi Nenbutsu-ji Temple).
(Note) We will see the precincts of only Tenryu-ji Temple and Nonomiya Shrine due to the shortage of time.
